Agree the details before the shoot.

Keep what you are making and what you have agreed alongside the client. The next person opening the record should not need to search their inbox for context.

A shared brief for the work

Create a brief from scratch or start from an enquiry. Link it to a job when useful, share it with the client and keep comments and agreement with the document.

Your terms, your templates

Prepare contracts using your own wording and reusable templates. Fill in client and job details, then review the resolved document before sending. StudioStack provides the workflow, not legal advice or a replacement for reviewing your terms.

Keep a record of what was signed

The named client verifies their email, enters their name and explicitly agrees before signing. Keep the signed version, signature details and a downloadable PDF. Revisions preserve the earlier signed record.

Good to know.

Do briefs and contracts have to belong to a job?

No. They belong to the client and can optionally link to an enquiry or job. You can agree the work before a booking exists.

Does signing a contract automatically charge the client?

No. Signing records their agreement. Bookings, invoices and payments remain separate actions under your control.
